- I grew up in India and have spent over a decade in the UK, enjoying best of both the Worlds. For a while I felt I was at home nowhere (i.e. neither in India nor in UK) however, over the last few years I have realised that I feel at home where there is no place for prejudices whether it be race, colour, class, caste or religion related; and there is a respect for people; appreciation for simplicity & talent regardless of ones background. Whilst my feet are strongly rooted to my own culture, colourful traditions and festivals, I love learning about different cultures and traditions as I believe diversity is the spice of life. I also enjoy travelling as I feel there are some real treasures in this world to be discovered. I hope to discover few of these treasures during this lifetime. I find inspiration in ordinary people who live extraordinary lives, people who are passionate about something in their life whether it is music, a hobby or a cause they support. Finally I share two of my favourite quotes by Mahatma Gandhi: * You must be the change you want to see in the world! * Happiness is when, what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
